By installing, signing in to, or using Clipo, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.

Permitted Uses

Clipo is intended for lawful purposes, including:

  • Research and education.
  • Teaching and learning.
  • Quotation, criticism, commentary, and analysis.
  • Library, archival, and preservation activities.
  • Lawful accessibility and assistive use.

Clipo’s functionality does not mean that any particular resource is free from copyright restrictions.

User Responsibility

You may import or use a resource only when you:

  • Own the resource;
  • Have the required license or permission; or
  • Have another valid legal basis for using it.

You are responsible for copyright, privacy, attribution, and compliance with the terms of the source platform.

Prohibited Activities

You must not use Clipo to:

  • Access or collect private content without permission.
  • Bypass paywalls, DRM, CAPTCHA, passwords, or authentication controls.
  • Steal or misuse accounts, cookies, or access tokens.
  • Download, copy, or distribute content unlawfully.
  • Violate the rights of another person or organization.
  • Disrupt, abuse, or overload Clipo or third-party systems.
  • Use Clipo for any unlawful purpose.

Account and License

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

One Clipo license may be used on up to two Mac devices, subject to the conditions shown at the time of purchase. Licenses may not be resold, shared, or transferred without authorization.

Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy.

Refund eligibility is subject to Clipo’s refund policy displayed at checkout and applicable law.

Third-Party Platforms

Clipo may interact with third-party websites and platforms. Clipo does not control their availability, content, policies, or future changes.

You must comply with the terms and policies of each platform you use.

Ownership of User Content

You retain ownership of your workspace, canvas, notes, and imported resources, subject to the rights of their original owners.

Updates and Availability

Clipo may be updated, modified, or discontinued. Third-party websites and integrations may change or stop working without notice.

Suspension or Termination

Clipo may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create a security risk, or infringe another person’s rights.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Clipo is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every website, resource, integration, or feature will always work.

You are responsible for your use of Clipo and for the legality of the resources you access or import.
