Clipo respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Clipo collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the application.
Information We May Collect
Clipo may collect:
- Your email address and account identity provided through Google Sign-In.
- License, device activation, and account status information.
- App version, operating system, and device type.
- General feature usage, such as imported asset type, source platform category, and app surface.
- Session timestamps, errors, and crash information.
- Website analytics such as pages and sections viewed, time spent, scroll depth, clicks, video interactions, referring source, campaign parameters, approximate location, browser, operating system, language, timezone, device type, and screen or viewport dimensions.
- Records confirming acceptance of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Information required to verify your license or purchase.
Clipo does not receive or store your complete payment card details. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy.
Information Clipo Does Not Proactively Send
Under the current design, Clipo does not include the following in telemetry:
- Canvas or workspace content.
- Imported images, videos, notes, or files.
- Private text content.
- Passwords, cookies, access tokens, or credentials from other websites.
- Full URL contents, unless required to provide a specific feature.
Telemetry is sent in batches, generally about once per day, rather than in real time.
Service Providers
Clipo uses the following service providers to operate its account, licensing, payment, and infrastructure services:
- Google OAuth authenticates users and provides the account information required to create or access a Clipo account.
- Lemon Squeezy processes purchases, taxes, invoices, and refunds. Clipo does not receive or store complete payment card details.
- Supabase stores Clipo account, session, license, order, entitlement, activated-device, legal-consent, and approved telemetry records.
- Cloudflare provides API infrastructure and backup storage.
- PostHog provides website analytics, product analytics, error tracking, and privacy-masked session replay. Form inputs are masked in session recordings.
Each provider processes information according to its own privacy policy and its agreement with Clipo. This section will be updated if the providers used by Clipo change.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
